Reefer Mechanic
An experienced Reefer Mechanic is needed for our shop in Miami, Florida. We are an OEM parts, sales, and service dealer for refrigerated truck and trailer products. Our operation has been dominating the Sunshine State for over two decades.
Compensation:
- Up to $45/hour to start
- 401K with match
- Medical, Dental, paid vacation/sick time, and paid holidays
Duties:
- Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Carrier and Thermo King Reefers and auxiliary power units (APUs)
- Collaborating with service writers, management, parts department, drivers, vendors and customers
- Keep paper work updated and handed in upon completion
Experience needed:
- 608 EPA Certification
- Prior experience maintaining refrigerated trailers/trucks
- Must have your own set of general tools
- Able to read electric & refrigeration schematic
- Take night and weekend call outs in rotation with other technicians
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
