HVAC Purchaser

A leading HVAC wholesale distributor is immediately looking to hire an experienced HVAC Purchaser to work at either their Vaughan, Richmond Hill, or Cambridge ON office, whichever location is closest.

As the HVAC Purchaser, you will be responsible for preparing purchase reports/cost analysis; monitoring inventory and stock levels are maintained (i.e. cycle counts, eliminate obsolete parts/equipment, etc.); liaise with customers, vendors, and sales staff re pricing inquiries, status updates, documentation; maintain up-to-date records on all transactions, purchases, and proof of payments; enter and ensure accurate records (i.e. vendor and client details, quantities etc.); communicate with vendors on status of order (tracking, resolving shortages, cancelling orders etc.); research potential vendors and continue to build existing vendor relationships; prepare branch transfers and coordinate deliveries; other duties as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role from the HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical Industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail
• Proficient Computer Skills experienced with various computer programs and CRM systems
• Supply chain background is considered a strong asset
• Valid “G” driver’s license and clean driving record
