Small Engine Mechanic

We are looking to hire an Experienced Journeyman Certified Electric Motor System Technician to work out of our Calgary, AB shop. Technicians should have a minimum of 5 years experience repairing electric motors, blowers, and pumps. Generator mechanics are also urged to apply.

Requirement

• Test, repair, rebuild and troubleshoot small diesel motors, generators, pumps blowers and fans
• Install bearings, seals, shafts, blower wheels and other components
• Diagnose and disassemble equipment
• Observe and communicate findings with management/supervisor

Qualification

• Electric Motor Systems Technician Journeyman Certification or 10 years experience working on small diesel engine equipment
• Must have you own set of tools
• Good communication skills both verbally and written
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Compensation

$50K - $60k/year, salary rang varies based on experience and certification

100% Company paid benefits after 3 months and includes Health, Dental, Life Insurance, LTD & STD, pension plan enrollment after 1 year, 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 sick days, gym membership and profit sharing.

Shift:

Days, 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday.
