Service Manager

Our busy Marine Service Center in Rockland, Maine has an immediate opening for an experienced Service Manager. This role will be overseeing a team of technicians including Marine Mechanics, Carpenters, Painters and Fiberglass techs. We are ideally looking for someone who has experience running a service center and while boat repair experience would be considered an asset we would also consider those from Automotive, Heavy Truck, Heavy Equipment or similar industries. This is a hands off role and will be responsible for supervising technicians, scheduling work and working with service advisors.

We run a very team oriented and linear structure, we all assist each other and work together to get the job done.

For this role, previous experience as a mechanic would be considered an asset but is not a requirement. Strong leadership skills is the biggest priority.

The majority of work will be done on power boats from 20’ – 60’. We are busy year round and take on large in depth projects, not just maintenance work.
