Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We have an immediate opening available for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Technician in Barrie. This role will be working in a production facility performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment including conveyors, Vacuums, Blowers, Rotary Valves and more. Those with experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright from a manufacturing environment will be preferred. A Journeyman Millwright license is not a requirement of this position but would be considered a strong asset.

This opportunity is with a small (25 employee) but well established company. Our existing Maintenance Mechanic is retiring after 25 years of service and will be on hand initially to provide training and guidance. While the main focus of this position will be maintenance there may be times when this individual will be asked to help in other departments such as production or shipping.
