Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are looking for Heavy Equipment Mechanics in Las Vegas. Put your experience and skills to work for a reputable company maintaining and repairing a fleet of sweeper and vacuum trucks. The individual will receive daily work assignments, perform repairs on customer equipment, handle documentation, communicate effectively with customers and staff, and manage inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on customer and company-owned equipment.
• Accurately report time worked and complete repair orders efficiently.
• Diagnose equipment issues, determine required tools, and operate equipment for repairs.
• Inspect equipment, handle warranty repairs, and create parts lists.
• Read schematics, notify management of additional work or delays.
• Conduct basic fabrication tasks and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Stay updated with training and follow safety procedures.

Required Skills:

• 2-5 years of mechanical experience, preferably in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, repair, and customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain a class B license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Physical abilities to lift and carry heavy loads, work in various positions, and use tools effectively.
