Generator Technician

We are seeking an experienced Generator Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of portable power generator unites in our Laurel, MD facility. The ideal mechanic will have previous experience performing repairs and maintenance on generators.

Responsibility

• Perform maintenance checks and complete repairs as needed, on generators and related equipment.
• Diagnose cause of issues and failures.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintain documentation/paperwork for parts needed for repairs.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualification

• 3-5 years experience servicing generator units
• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
• Self motivated, organized, and able to work with little supervision.
• Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure.
• Must have a valid driver’s license preferably a CDL with a clean driving record.
