Gas/Air Quality Technician

Rockstar HVAC is seeking an Entry level G3 Gas/Air Quality Technician to join a well-established employer in the Kemptville, ON area. As a Gas/Air Quality Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing gas systems, air ducts/vents and equipment. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to gain experience in the HVAC Residential field.

SERVICE AREAS: Kemptville, Ottawa, Lanark County, Stormont

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Perform thorough inspections of air duct systems to identify and assess cleanliness, damage, leaks, and potential hazards

- Install or modify air duct systems as per specifications, including ductwork, insulation, seals, and fittings

- Collaborate with team members and other professionals, such as HVAC technicians and contractors, to coordinate projects and ensure effective communication

- Assist in installing and connect gas systems, appliances, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations, industry standards, and manufacturer guidelines

- Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to identify and rectify any potential safety hazards, leaks, or malfunctions

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Gas Fitter 3 License

- High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma)

- Previous experience in skilled trades an asset (ie carpentry, construction, etc)

- Clean Driving Record
