Field Technician - Heavy Equipment Fire Suppression Systems Mechanic

We have an immediate opening available for a Field Technician that will be covering Columbus, Ohio and the surrounding area. This is a unique opportunity for technicians that are skilled with mechanical repairs and have some experience with equipment. This role involves the installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of fire suppression systems on Off Road Pieces of Equipment. You do not need to have previous experience with Fire Suppression Systems, we can train you on that but you should be comfortable with a wrench in your hand and ok with getting a bit dirty.

This is a field role that covers a large territory and also requires periodic out of state training. You must be comfortable being on the road and away from home. Strong customer service skills are also a must as you will be the face of the company in the field and working directly with the client.

The great thing about this position is that you start your day from your home. You will be provided with a well equipped Service Truck that you park at home. You will be dispatched directly from there, no need to commute into a shop/office every morning.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Technician but we do not require someone with in depth Diesel Technician or Heavy Equipment Repair experience as the entire job will be focused on the fire suppression systems.

Must have a valid drivers license with good driving record.
