Diesel Truck Mechanic Technician

We have a new opportunity available for Truck Technicians in Florida. This is a Mobile Service position, candidates will be supplied with a Service Truck and will be performing repairs and maintenance to Class 1-8 trucks at customer locations. The majority of the work will be preventative maintenance, brakes, A/C, and other fleet repairs. Major engine and transmission work will not be required.

This role is based out of Fort Lauderdale and will cover a territory of approximately 25 miles. The majority of work will be scheduled, planned service that is done at customer locations. Breakdown work only makes up about 10% of the work. This is also not a 24/7 operation, this is Day Shift, Monday to Friday with operating hours of 9:00 am -5:00 pm. Occasional Saturday work will be required from time to time but not every week.

Those with ASE Certifications will be given preference but this is not a requirement. Technicians must have their own tools as well as a valid driver's license and clean driving record. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Technician and be able to work independently.
