Diesel Mechanic

Experienced Fleet Mechanics Needed!
We are looking to hire Several Experienced Class A Diesel Mechanics to perform fleet repairs on a wide range of vehicles from Light duty pick-ups to commercial trucks across Muncie, IN. Technicians should have previous experience repairing light duty pick-ups, box truck and class 8 trucks. Mechanics with 3-5 years of experience performing fleet repairs are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, repair brake systems, replace engine components, transmissions, steering, fuel systems, suspensions, and other repairs on heavy duty trucks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions/faults.
- Maintaining work orders.
Requirement:
- Strong computer diagnostic skills.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must have your own tools.
- Must have basic computer skill.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet repair deadlines.
- Should be comfortable performed roadside repairs.
- This is a field position and requires a valid Driver’s License CDL preferred with a clean driving record.

Compensation
$25 - $30/hour, wage range is based on experience and certification. Benefit available and includes Health, Dental, and Vision.
Shifts
Days, 7:00am - 5:00pm and Afternoons, 12:00 noon - 9:00pm Monday - Friday. Should be flexible to work the occasional Saturdays and be on call to accommodate emergency/roadside repairs.
