Crane Mechanic - Shop & Field

We are urgently looking for experienced shop & field Crane Mechanics in the GTA to join an award-winning heavy equipment repair organization that has been in business for over 70 years.

Technicians will work out of a well-equipped service truck and in a clean and organized shop to diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on a variety of cranes.

 JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

At least 3 years crane repair experience (i.e. truck mounted, crawlers, rough terrain, telescopic etc.)

Strong diagnostic skills

421A Heavy Equipment Mechanic License OR Registered 5th Year Apprentice, preferred but not required

Own tools

Valid “G” driver’s license and clean driving record

COMPENSATION:

· $34.00 - $40.00/hour+++

· Comprehensive Benefit Package after 90 days (Medical, Dental, Health, Vision, Life Insurance)

· $850 Annual Tool Allowance

· $200 Annual Safety Boot Allowance

· Ongoing Paid Factory Training

· Overtime paid after 8.5 hours each day

· Service Truck to Take Home + Fuel Card + Cell + Laptop + 407 card + Paid Door-Door

· Company Provided & Cleaned Uniforms

SHIFT: Days, Monday – Friday. Plenty of OT available. NO On-call.

All hired Heavy Crane Mechanics must pass a pre-employment background check (Criminal and Driving)
