Apprentice Transmission/Diesel Journeyman Techs

We are looking for Apprentice Transmission or Diesel Journeyman Technicians to join our friendly team in a brand new 40,000 sq ft Fleet Facility!  With large contracts with some of the largest companies in the Pacific Northwest.  We are a rapidly expanding operation and paying top dollar for Apprentice Transmission/Diesel Journeyman Technicians. Description/Responsibilities:

• Assist the Journeyman Technician with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and transmissions
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations & brake inspections
• Learn to adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Keep work areas clean and organized, and properly maintain all tools and equipment
• Participate in training and development opportunities to increase knowledge and skills
• Collaborate with other technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles in a timely and efficient manner
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide accurate estimates and repairs

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines and transmissions
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
• A valid drivers’ license and a good driving record
