313D Apprentice/Gas Technician (G2)

In business since 1992, a well-respected Residential and Commercial HVAC organization is immediately looking to hire a 313D/313A Apprentice, G2 Certified to join their team in Hanover and Wingham, Ontario.
Working closely with a 313D/313A Journeymen, the apprentice will install/service, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and cooling systems in Residential Homes and Light Commercial work including furnaces, A/C units, Water Heaters, Ductless Vents, etc from a variety of manufacturer brands in the Durham Region Area.
JOB DUTIES
- Installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation and cooling systems in Residential homes
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
- Troubleshooting systems and performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Ability to read and draw schematics and blueprints
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures including safe handling & transportation of hazardous materials
- Prepare accurate and timely work reports and time sheets
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Working towards a 313D/313A License
- Licensed G2 Technician is a MUST
- Valid "G" Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- ODP Preferred
Compensation
Wage is based on experience.
Shifts
Days, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday), Flexible to work on-call rotation Evenings/Weekends as needed.
