Marine Mechanic/Technician

Our busy Marina in Salem, MA has an immediate opening for a Mechanic to join the team. We have a great team of technicians and a very experienced manager who is able to teach the ins and outs of working on boats. We are looking for technicians from any background that want to learn the trade. Those from a small engine mechanic background or landscaping equipment, rental equipment shop, or even automotive shop are welcome to apply. The skillset is very transferable. The boats we work on are a mix of both Gas and Diesel Powered.

The Marine world can be a great opportunity, especially if you are sick of being stuck in a shop all day. A lot of our work is outdoors and often on the water. It is not seasonal either, we are just as busy in the winter where work is primarily done inside of heated workspaces. We need Mechanics with a great attitude who are willing to learn and who want to turn their job into a Career. We provide ongoing training, send you for factory certification with leading engine suppliers, and will even help you build up your tool collection with a great employer-subsidized tool buying plan.
