Gas Technician/313D Apprentice

Rockstar HVAC is looking to recruit a G2 Gas Technician/313D Residential Apprentice for a well-established employer in Ontario to service the area of Windsor ON.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in Installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation and cooling systems in Residential homes
• Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to identify and rectify any potential safety hazards, leaks, or malfunctions.
• Assist in troubleshooting systems and performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Install and connect gas systems, appliances, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations, industry standards, and manufacturer guidelines
• Ability to read and draw schematics and blueprints
• Carry out gas meter readings, pressure tests, and gas leak detection to ensure compliance with safety standards and accurate billing.
• Prepare accurate and timely work reports and time sheets

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must possess a Gas Fitter 2 (G2) Certification
• Must have clean driving record with valid/current driver's license
• Strong attention to detail
• Motivated, enthusiastic and eager to learn & develop new skills in a timely manner
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
