  • Apprentices: Starting at $27.75/hour and up (based on experience and certifications)

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking experienced Truck and Trailer Mechanics and Apprentices to join a growing maintenance team responsible for a modern fleet of trucks, trailers, and reefer units. The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and skilled in diagnosing and repairing commercial transport systems.

This is a full-time, steady position offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a professional maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, trailers, and reefer units.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Manage parts inventory and complete repair documentation accurately.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections as required.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Assets

  • Experience required with commercial truck systems — chassis, frame, cab, body, engines, drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel systems.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Red Seal Journeyperson Certification (asset).
  • Reefer unit experience (asset).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
