Job Summary:

Rockstar Recruiting is looking for a skilled 310T Truck and Coach Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing medium and heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they remain in top working condition for our customers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, including diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
  • Utilize service manuals and technical data to accurately repair and maintain vehicles.
  • Communicate directly with customers to explain necessary repairs and work performed.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines, minimizing vehicle downtime.
  • Participate in company-provided training and dealer-specific courses as scheduled.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in automotive technology or a related field is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a heavy-duty truck technician or similar role.
  • Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician.
  • Valid G Class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must have personal hand tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and understand technical information.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on a variety of medium and heavy-duty trucks.
  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software.
  • Experience with fleet management software (e.g., Fleet Complete).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Permanent
  • 8-hour shifts, with varying day, evening, and morning shifts.
  • Monday to Friday (overtime and weekends as needed).

Compensation:

  • Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour.
  • Overtime pay available.
