Truck And Coach Technician
Job Summary:
Rockstar Recruiting is looking for a skilled 310T Truck and Coach Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing medium and heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they remain in top working condition for our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, including diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Utilize service manuals and technical data to accurately repair and maintain vehicles.
- Communicate directly with customers to explain necessary repairs and work performed.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines, minimizing vehicle downtime.
- Participate in company-provided training and dealer-specific courses as scheduled.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in automotive technology or a related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience as a heavy-duty truck technician or similar role.
- Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician.
- Valid G Class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must have personal hand tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and understand technical information.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on a variety of medium and heavy-duty trucks.
- Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software.
- Experience with fleet management software (e.g., Fleet Complete).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Schedule:
- Full-time, Permanent
- 8-hour shifts, with varying day, evening, and morning shifts.
- Monday to Friday (overtime and weekends as needed).
Compensation:
- Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour.
- Overtime pay available.
