Full-Time Licensed Mechanic – Join Rockstar Recruiting
Rockstar Recruiting is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Mechanic to support the operations of our Main Equipment Shop, ensuring the efficient maintenance of a diverse vehicle fleet. This role is based in a non-union facility, where the mechanic will be responsible for performing repairs and conducting regular preventative maintenance on company-owned highway trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning equipment using pressure gauges, scanners, and factory manuals.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on brakes, electrical systems, steering, suspension, and general vehicle services.
- Assist with other mechanical areas as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve major mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services.
Requirements:
- Class T Truck & Coach Technician Certification is required.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience with heavy equipment is preferred.
- Ability to frequently stoop, bend, and kneel.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various environments, temperatures, and weather conditions, with exposure to grease, oils, and lubricants.
