Your Role
You’ll be responsible for meeting and exceeding customer expectations by performing high-quality installations and maintenance for life safety systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, servicing, installation, and preventative maintenance of life safety products, as well as similar systems from other manufacturers.
- Work with low-voltage wiring and devices for equipment operation.
- Accurately complete Service Acknowledgements, using laptops or hard copy documentation as required.
- Follow a structured inspection schedule to ensure timely service.
- Input, retrieve, and archive inspection data through a computer system.
- Perform minor repairs and make programming changes, under authorized supervision.
- Ensure all inspections are completed on time and to the highest standard.
- Take on additional tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5-10 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses as per National, State, and Local codes
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and product manuals
- Proficient with hand tools and multi-meters
- Experience with various system types (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for system repairs
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment (up to 50-70 lbs)
- Comfortable working in challenging environments such as ladders, scaffolding, high lifts (up to 40 feet), ducts, crawl spaces, and ceilings
- Excellent customer service skills
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills, a positive attitude, and quick learning ability
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets company standards
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
- Repair experience
- Backflow certification
- NICET Level II certification
