Shop Supervisor
A Shop Supervisor is needed for immediate hire at our truck repair facility in Covington, Louisiana. Oversee mechanics maintaining utility trucks, bucket trucks, and digger trucks with aerial attachments and hydraulic systems. We are seeking a leader to coordinate workflow, ensure safety compliance, oversee diagnostics, and provide technical guidance. This is a rapidly growing team and expanding business. Work hours are day shift, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday).
Floor Supervisor Duties:
- Assigns tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress
- Train and develops shop personnel
- Coordinates daily operations, including opening work orders, and scheduling jobs
- Parts inventory and ordering
- Leading diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair efforts
- Scheduling with third party maintenance vendors
- Accurate maintenance documentation
- Quality control on maintenance and safety initiatives
- Reporting on maintenance, repairs and inspection efforts
- Maintaining warranty records.
Compensation:
- $35.00 – $40.00/hour to start.

Your Background:
- Proven leadership experience.
- Extensive bumper to bumper truck repair experience.
- Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Ability to utilize schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- CDL B or willingness to acquire after hire.
- Knowledge of DOT requirements and standards.
