Project Manager & Estimator
A leader within construction industry that specializes in Civil underground works is immediately hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager/Estimator to manage a variety of municipal and industrial / commercial / institutional projects across Southeastern Ontario.

As the Construction Project Manager & Estimator, you will be responsible for managing multiple heavy civil, site servicing / site development and infrastructure projects from start to finish. Some of your specific duties include, but are not limited to, preparing and maintaining all appropriate documentation; prepare Material and Equipment Takeoffs for Bid Spec, Design Build and Small-Large Job Quotes & Estimates for civil construction projects; prepare RFI’s, as-builts/close out documents, review estimates and create construction schedules, prepare change order pricing and manage site instruction documents, prepare and execute start up packages for construction field staff and close out packages for clients, communicate with contractors, clients, and customers and update clients on the status of the project; closely monitor and process project variations and projects costs versus budget; manage bid requests and timelines; other related duties as assigned
SHIFT: Days, Monday – Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm. One-hour paid lunch and 2x-15-minute paid breaks
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least four (4) years Project Management & Estimation experience in heavy civil / underground construction of various budget levels
- Proficient with MS Office Applications and AutoCAD
- Ability to perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost estimates, and develop detailed proposals using estimating software and tools
- Strong leadership and technical skills
- Customer-service oriented with a strong focus on developing and improving customer relationships
- Experience with Digital Terrain Modelling Software an asset
- Able to read and interpret design drawings
