Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join an apartment maintenance team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of plumbing systems across multiple apartment communities. You will be responsible for performing plumbing repairs, installations, and regular maintenance, with a focus on delivering top-notch service to residents. This position requires a mix of technical skills and a customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair various plumbing issues, including leaks, clogged drains, and malfunctioning fixtures.
  • Install, replace, and maintain plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, faucets, toilets, and more.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to manage emergency plumbing repairs efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and regulations while performing plumbing work.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, parts used, and service history.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in residential or multi-family property maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in apartment or property management settings.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Schedule:

  • Full-time position with an on-call rotation for emergency repairs.
