Mobile Service Technician
We are looking for a full-time experienced Mobile Service Technician (SCBA) based in Sacramento (northern CA, to support the inspection, maintenance, and repair of firefighting equipment. This is a field-based role with a company service vehicle provided (take-home eligible). The ideal candidate must reside near Tempe to effectively manage the Arizona territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Perform routine inspections and functional checks of SCBA equipment
– Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
– Test SCBA units (pressure, airflow, and leak testing) to ensure compliance
– Maintain detailed service records and documentation
– Calibrate and adjust equipment for accuracy and safety
– Train end-users on proper use and maintenance of SCBA equipment

JOB REQUIREMENTS
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician (preferred)
– Prior experience servicing SCBA equipment (highly desirable but not required)
– Mechanical background with experience in one or more of the following:
HVAC systems, Small engine repair, Firefighting equipment, Hydraulics, Cabling
Vehicles or electrical systems
– Knowledge of NFPA standards and SCBA regulations (preferred)
– Familiarity with 3M/Scott SCBA equipment (preferred)
– Strong computer skills
– Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving ability
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Valid Driver’s License (required)
– REAL-ID required for access to federal sites
– Willingness to travel (100% travel required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
