Mobile Diesel Mechanic
If you’re a diesel mechanic who enjoys independence, variety, and real earning power, this is the role for you. We’re hiring a Road Service Diesel Technician based out of Saco, ME to support trucks, trailers, motor coaches, personal vehicles, and some heavy equipment. This is a true field service position—you’ll be trusted with your own company service truck, dispatched to emergency roadside calls, and backed by a responsive support and dispatch team.
Compensation & Perks

Schedule & Work Style
- Monday–Friday availability between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekend availability required
- On-call rotation required
- Significant travel (often 50+ miles in any direction)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform emergency roadside repairs and mobile diagnostics on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment
- Perform brake work, electrical work, tire removal and installation. AC and emission system maintenance.
- Use modern diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues quickly
- Communicate clearly with Dispatch, Parts, and Management to keep jobs moving
- Maintain accurate documentation, invoices, and receipts
- Provide professional, calm, customer-focused service
What We’re Looking For
- Diesel mechanic with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on repair experience
- Comfortable working independently in roadside and outdoor environments
- Experience with diesel diagnostic software
- Valid drivers license
