Millwright/Fabricator
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Millwright to join a well-established manufacturing facility in Toronto (North York). This is a hands-on role working alongside a team of Millwrights and Maintenance Technicians in a stable production environment.
This position is ideal for a skilled Millwright who enjoys preventative maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and mechanical work on a variety of industrial equipment. Fabrication experience is a strong asset for this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Work on extruders and related plastics manufacturing equipment
- Fabricate, modify, and repair mechanical components as needed
- Install, align, and service mechanical systems and rotating equipment
- Work safely in accordance with company procedures and OH&S standards
What We’re Looking For
- Journeyman Millwright (433A) preferred
- Strong hands-on millwright experience; 8–10+ years considered an asset
- Fabrication experience (welding, fitting, repairs) is highly valued
- Experience in manufacturing or plastics environments is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, safety-focused, and mechanically strong
