Lab Technician
We’re looking for a motivated lab technician to join our team in La Porte, Texas. If you’re the kind of person who loves getting their hands dirty, working with hydraulic oil samples, and using microscopes, then we want to hear from you!
As our lab technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of lab work like handling hydraulic oil samples and analysis through particle count, water content, MPC and ruler tests. This also includes ensuring data accuracy and equipment integrity. You’ll need to be great with Microsoft apps, as you’ll be recording all your findings and keeping our databases up to date.
Compensation:
- $21.00 – $25.00/hour.

Responsibilities:
- Register, track, evaluate, and draft customer oil sampling reports by utilizing onsite laboratory equipment; as well as analyzing third party laboratory results.
- Understand onsite instrument functionality, use, and limitations by following manuals and manufacturer guidance.
- Support in calibration and troubleshooting of instruments.
- Day shift, 7:30am – 4:00pm (Monday to Friday).
Qualifications:
- Experience with our equipment (or similar lab equipment) is ideal: Fluitec RULER V, Metrohm 874 oven sampler (OMNIS Software), Metrohm (Karl Fisher Titrator), HIAC 8011+ particle counter and/or Automatic Particle Counter, CINRG CS-APC-22M.
- Preferred, though not required, an associate’s degree in a technical or administrative field with experience working in an office environment.
- Ability to maintain a high level of process efficiency, organization, and quality data input and analysis.
