Kitchen Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technicians will inspect, install, troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety of kitchen fire suppression systems, emergency lighting systems, perform hydrostatic testing of low-pressure cylinders, fire extinguisher repairs and filling; completing documentation of work performed using a tablet; other related duties as required.

 

Fire Sprinkler Inspectors will primarily inspect, as well as test, install, and service a variety of water and air-based fire suppression and controls systems, valves, pipelines, fire pump and related equipment in commercial healthcare, and industrial settings.

 

KITCHEN FIRE SUPPRESSION & FIRE EXTINGUISHER TECHNICIAN JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·      Valid Type A – Fixed Systems License (FEL-A), Type K – Kitchen Cooking Systems (FEL-K), or Type B – Portable Fire Extinguisher(FEL-B) License required

·      At least two (2) years experience install, service, and maintenance experience with a variety of kitchen fire suppression systems (i.e. ANSUL, Pyro Chem, RangeGuard, Kidde, and Piranha) and fire extinguishers

·      Knowledgeable NFPA 10, NFPA 17-17A, UL 300, and local fire codes

·      Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR

·      Able to pass pre-employment background checks (i.e. Criminal, Driving, Drug)

 

FIRE SPRINKLER INSPECTOR JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·      NICET II or higher (water-based inspections) license required

·      At least four (4) years experience install, service, and maintenance experience with a variety of fire sprinkler systems

·      Knowledgeable NFPA 10, NFPA 17-17A and plumbing codes

·      Experienced managing projects a strong asset

·      Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR

·      Able to pass pre-employment background checks (i.e. Criminal, Driving, Drug)

 

SHIFT: Days, 7:00am – 3:00pm (Monday – Friday). Rotating on-call. OT after 40 hours.

 

COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:
