Kitchen Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technicians will inspect, install, troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety of kitchen fire suppression systems, emergency lighting systems, perform hydrostatic testing of low-pressure cylinders, fire extinguisher repairs and filling; completing documentation of work performed using a tablet; other related duties as required.

 

SHIFT: Days, 8:00am – 4:30pm (Monday – Friday). OT after 40 hours. On-Call: 1 week/7 weeks.

SUPPRESSION TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two (2) years service, inspection, and/or install experience with kitchen fire suppression systems and/or fire extinguishers (i.e. Hydrotek, Buckeye, Ansul, Redilite, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of NFPA10
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks (Criminal, MVR, Physical, and Drug Testing)
