About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic/Technician/Millwright. In this hands-on role, you’ll maintain, repair, and improve high-capacity production and packaging equipment in a leading food manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on food manufacturing, packaging, and automation systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Work with industrial ovens, mixers, conveyors, proofers, and packaging lines.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
- Support production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Record work using a CMMS system and follow GMP, HACCP, and safety standards.
- Mentor junior technicians and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing or industrial bakery maintenance.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of automation systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – must speak, read, and understand both.
- Electrical license or maintenance certification required.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in high-heat or confined-space environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Omron PLCs/HMIs.
- Welding or fabrication skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms (Fiix, eMaint, SAP PM).
