What You’ll Be Rockin’ Day-to-Day

You’re the mechanical wizard—owning the performance, reliability, and readiness of tactical and heavy-duty vehicles and systems. From diagnostics to full system overhauls, your hands-on expertise will make the mission happen.

  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on tactical and CESE (Civil Engineering Support Equipment).
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and assess equipment per OEM specifications on systems including but not limited to:
  • Ford Power Stroke, Chevy Duramax, Cummins, John Deere, Kubota, Mercedes, and Caterpillar diesel engines
  • Allison Transmissions, 4L80E Transmission
  • 15KW & 45KW Generators
  • Hydraulic systems for 55-ton Lowboy Trailers, 15K & 30K Forklifts
  • Provide technical training or instruction on equipment when needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and coordination with government reps.
  • Submit all contract-related reports and deliverables on time and with precision.

What You Bring to the Table

  • High school diploma, trade school cert, or equivalent.
  • 6+ years’ hands-on experience as an OEM-level mechanic—could be from a dealership, commercial fleet shop, or military maintenance unit.
  • Your own professional tool set relevant to your trade.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (with ability to obtain a Top Secret).
  • ASE Certification in Diesel Engines, plus at least two additional ASE certifications in areas such as:
  • Drive Train
  • Brakes
  • Suspension & Steering
  • Electrical
  • Heating & A/C
  • Preventative Maintenance

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Proven experience with MESF CESE equipment following OEM standards—covering engines, transmissions, generators, and hydraulic systems listed above.
  • Prior work in expeditionary, tactical, or deployed environments.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift 30+ lbs, transport equipment, and work in rugged environments.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, aboard ships, and in extreme heat, cold, humidity, and noise.
  • Capable of wearing a respirator and performing duties in industrial/military conditions.
  • Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally.
