We’re hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Truck Technician in Missoula, Montana. This is a long-term opportunity with a stable company that’s been around for decades, not some fly-by-night operation.
You’ll be working in a modern, well-equipped shop with good airflow, good equipment, and a crew that understands how to get work done without drama.
Pay
- $30–$42/hr depending on experience, diagnostics ability, and overall skill level.
- If you’re worth more, the company is willing to talk.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- No nights. No weekends
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks (Class 6–8)
- Troubleshoot electrical, engine, hydraulic, HVAC, brake, suspension, and drivetrain issues
- Handle repairs efficiently and correctly the first time
- Work independently but still be part of a solid shop team
- Keep your bay clean and safe
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years of heavy-duty diesel repair experience
- Strong diagnostics skills
- Somebody dependable who shows up ready to work
- Ability to move in a fast-paced shop without cutting corners
- CDL is a plus, not required
