Diesel Mechanic

Fleet Maintenance opportunity turning wrenches on heavy duty Sweeping Trucks. We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to potentially transition into a Lead role. There will be a performance review and potential raise after 90 days. A generous compensated package is provided, including 100% covered family health, pension & annuity hourly pay, and 401K tax deferral option. Maintenance experience with diesel systems and heavy trucks is required, along with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electronic, and electrical systems. A CDL B is necessary for field service/emergency roadside repair. Perfect position for a Diesel Technician looking to grow into a Supervisor position while overseeing other mechanics/helpers. Union position with an outfit specializing in street sweeping for over two decades!
