Apprentice Automotive Service Technician – Fleet Mechanic
Are you an Automotive Apprentice with 2+ years of experience, looking to take the next step in your career? We’re offering a great opportunity in Calgary for an Apprentice Fleet Mechanic to gain hands-on experience working on a wide variety of equipment. This role is perfect for someone who has already started their apprenticeship training and is ready to broaden their skills in preparation for their Journeyperson certification.
You’ll work on an exciting mix of vehicles and equipment—ranging from pickup trucks and diesel trucks to small engines, landscaping equipment, and construction machinery. If you’re eager to become a well-rounded technician in a supportive, team-focused environment, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse fleet.
- Work on a range of equipment, including light-duty trucks, small engines, landscaping equipment, and diesel trucks.
- Support and collaborate with a knowledgeable team while building your independent repair skills.
- Follow safety protocols and deliver high-quality workmanship on every job.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Apprentice.
- Registered in an Automotive Service Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship program.
- Eagerness to develop skills across multiple vehicle and equipment types.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

- Competitive Apprentice Pay: $28.00 – $38.00/hour – Straight time + overtime (not Flat Rate or Commission)
