Trailer Technician

Type: Full Time

Compensation: C$25 - C$35 / hour

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, United States

Responsibilities & Duties:

Diagnose and evaluate mechanical issues
Inspect parts for damage or excessive wear
Travel locally to worksites to repair or replace heavy-duty equipment
Disassemble and reassemble heavy machinery using hoists and tools
Test equipment post-repair to ensure optimal performance

Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (Required)
2-5 years of experience with heavy-duty equipment repair (Preferred)
Completion of a vocational or post-secondary training program (Preferred)
Experience with trailer bodies and/or welding and fabrication (Preferred)
Having your own hand tools is a plus (larger tools will be provided by the company)
Ability to operate heavy-duty equipment
Strong time management skills
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to obtain a Medical DOT Card (company paid)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift/carry the following:
100lbs (Infrequently)
25-99lbs (Occasionally)
1-24lbs (Frequently)
