Overview: We are looking for a talented and driven Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing a wide range of trailers, including tractor-trailers and box trucks. This role requires precision, attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent customer service skills. As a Trailer Mechanic, you'll be integral in ensuring that our customer's units are serviced promptly and to the highest standards. Insurance options are available through a third-party provider.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including air brake systems and hydraulic components.
Diagnose mechanical issues and resolve them efficiently.
Align trailer components to meet safety and operational standards.
Weld and repair trailer structures as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality completion of repairs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Perform structural repairs on trailers and box trucks, including reefer boxes.

Experience & Skills:

Prior experience as a mechanic, ideally in a dealership or industrial equipment environment.
Expertise in working with hydraulics and air brake systems is essential.
Clean driving record for potential service truck duties.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Effective communication skills for interaction with customers and teammates.
