In-Shop Diesel Mechanic – Day Shift

Santa Fe Springs, CA | $40.00–$45.00/hour | Monday–Friday

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a busy, well-equipped shop in Santa Fe Springs.

This is a full-time day-shift position working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You will work alongside an experienced team maintaining and repairing diesel trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
Handle a wide variety of repairs and maintenance
Work independently while also contributing to a team environment

Requirements

5+ Years previous professional experience as a Diesel Technician
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience working on diesel trucks and trailers
Ability to read diagrams and schematics
Welding experience is a strong asset but is not required

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $40.00–$45.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Technicians with strong welding experience may qualify for a substantial increase in compensation.
