Position Description

Immediate Hiring: Permanent Full-Time Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician

Support our Truck Fleet in South Boston, Massachusetts!

Hourly Pay: $32.43 per hour

Quarterly Bonus: Earn up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year

Tool Box/Tool Allowance Provided

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Weekends OFF

Shift Hours: Second Shift, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Vocational/Technical Certification or Post-secondary degree, preferred
Basic tools required
At least 2 years of experience or a combination of classroom training and practical experience in automotive gas or diesel engines
Valid CDL Class A preferred (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
Ability to pass drug tests, DOT physical, road test, background check, and motor vehicle check

Responsibilities:

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, and tire work
Diagnose and repair basic mechanical and electronic issues
Utilize diagnostic equipment as needed
Conduct facility and equipment maintenance
Interact with drivers/customers to identify and resolve mechanical issues
Follow all safety, DOT, and company compliance guidelines
Support operations as required, including Service Island duties
