Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician to join our team at our South Boston, Massachusetts location. This is a full-time, permanent position to help support our Truck Fleet. If you're passionate about working on heavy-duty vehicles and want to be part of a great company, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Vocational or Technical Certification (preferred)
  • Basic tools (required)
  • At least two (2) years of hands-on experience or training in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid CDL Class A license (preferred) – must obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Must pass a Drug Test, DOT physical, road test, and background check

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brake work, and tire inspections
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electronic problems
  • Replace defective components and perform necessary repairs
  • Interact with customers and drivers to accurately diagnose and resolve issues
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, DOT, and company guidelines
