Commercial HVAC Technician

Type: Full Time

Compensation: C$30 - C$40 / hour

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, service, and repair HVAC systems including compressors, chillers, condensers, cooling towers, and pumps.
Perform preventative maintenance on heating and air systems such as boilers, air handlers, and evaporative coolers.
Troubleshoot and replace faulty components: thermostats, valves, switches, motors, fans, filters, controls, etc.
Safely operate hand and power tools, vacuum pumps, torches, and testing equipment.
Complete minor electrical work including wiring motors, connecting control panels, and troubleshooting controls.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and stay on schedule with minimal supervision.

Skills & Qualifications:

Expertise in diagnosing and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Ability to read and follow written instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and performing physical tasks like climbing, crawling, and bending.
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of documented journeyman-level HVAC experience.
Valid state-issued HVAC Journeyman License.
Valid Driver’s License.
