Position: Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Location: Miami, FL

Pay: From $35.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40–45 hours/week | Day Shift | Rotating On-Call

What You’ll Be Doing

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC systems
  • Work on Split Systems, Rooftop Units, Packaged Units, DOAS, VAVs/PIUs, Chillers, Boilers, Exhaust Fans, and more
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to keep systems running smoothly
  • Read and apply knowledge of wiring diagrams, circuits, and controls
  • Use HVAC software and apps for diagnostics, workflow, and reporting

Soft Skills & Teamwork:

  • Explain technical issues clearly to clients in simple terms
  • Juggle multiple service calls while staying on schedule
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manage warranty claims
  • Support your team and contribute to a positive work culture
  • Stay current with HVAC technologies through ongoing training

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • Knowledge of building safety systems like CO/NO2 detection and stairwell pressurization
  • Experience with VRV/VRF systems, especially Daikin or similar
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Clean driver’s license and MVR
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment

Certifications & Education

  • EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred; Type I & II required)
  • Refrigerant handling knowledge (EPA-compliant)
  • OSHA training or safety protocol knowledge
  • Associate degree or HVAC technical diploma preferred
  • Bonus: Certifications like NATE, HVAC Excellence
