Ship Technician

We have an immediate opening for Marine Technicians who will be performing repairs on large ships out of a well-equipped facility in Newport, RI. Most of our work is on ships from 80’ – 300’ and we need technicians who will be responsible for rigging and repairs. This role will not be involved with much engine work, key duties will include prop removal, coupling removal, rigging shaft (up to 4-inch shafts) engine alignment, replace bearings, rig rudder assemblies, and servicing of sea valves. Technicians should be comfortable working with blueprints and have knowledge of control pitch propeller systems.

This role will be working alongside a team of Mechanics, Machinists, and Technicians working out of a Large Boatyard. There is advancement opportunities as well as a great benefits package.
