Diesel Mechanic - Fleet Repairs

We have an urgent need for Experienced Fleet Mechanics to perform fleet repairs on commercial trucks and trailers in the Flint, MI area. Mechanics with 2+ years of experience performing fleet repair on class 7/8 trucks and trailers are preferred. We also encourage technicians with dealership experience to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions/faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, repair brake systems, replace engine components, transmissions, steering, fuel systems, suspensions, and other repairs on heavy duty trucks.
• Maintaining work orders.
• Perform annual inspections.

Requirement:

• ASE certifications preferred but not requirement.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must have your own tools.
• Must have basic computer skill.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet repair deadlines.
• Should be comfortable performed roadside repairs.
• This position has a field component and requires a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
