Residential HVAC Technician

Type: Full Time

Compensation: C$25 - C$35 / hour

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly pay ranging from $25 to $34, based on experience
SEIU Local 1 health, dental, and vision benefits plan (available after 90-day probationary period)
Two weeks of paid vacation annually, with an additional week after two years of employment

Full coverage of Local 1 training classes for technicians

Responsibilities:

Install, service, and perform preventative maintenance on fan coil and heat pump HVAC systems in residential properties, including condominiums, rental apartments, and senior living centers
Prepare equipment and tools at the warehouse for installation
Remove existing HVAC units and prepare installation areas
Adhere to the installation schedule set by the Operations Manager
Complete maintenance and repair service calls
Assist with other tasks as directed by the Operations Manager

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience
Relevant certifications required
EPA Certification is mandatory
Strong communication and customer service skills, as you’ll be working in customers' homes
Basic electrical troubleshooting abilities
Must be self-motivated and eager to learn, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Hours and Location:

Daily materials preparation at our office in Jefferson Park, Chicago
Job sites located across the Chicagoland area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40–45 hours per week
