Heavy Equipment Mechanic (A-Level Preferred)

We're looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our team in Delta, Ohio. If you have experience repairing heavy off-road equipment and enjoy solving mechanical problems, we'd like to hear from you.

Compensation

Up to $45.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Must be willing to work Days or Nights
Overtime opportunities available

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and industrial mobile equipment
Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and suspension components
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
Read hydraulic and electrical schematics
Utilize computerized diagnostic software
Perform welding, fabrication, and component repairs
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Follow all company safety procedures
Work closely with operations to minimize equipment downtime

Qualifications

Previous experience repairing heavy equipment
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems
Experience with Tier IV emissions systems preferred
Ability to interpret schematics and service manuals
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Valid Driver's License
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
