Job Responsibilities:

As a Certified Diesel Mechanic, you’ll:

Maintain advanced knowledge of vehicle components and systems, performing complex repairs both on-site and on the road.
Repair and maintain chassis components, refuse bodies (including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems), air and hydraulic braking systems, engine, suspension, drivetrain, steering, heating and air conditioning systems, and more.
Use electronic tools to diagnose and identify malfunctions.
Complete company training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
Ability to perform inspections and repairs independently in areas such as suspensions, steering, general engine, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions.
ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 75-100 pounds.
Must be comfortable working in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to stretch, pull, climb, and crawl to access units as needed.
